The final trimester is all about getting your body, mind, and home ready for baby’s arrival.
- Learn About Labor
- Understand the three stages of labor: early labor, active labor, and delivery.
- Know the signs that mean it’s time to go to the hospital (e.g., regular contractions, water breaking).

- Talk with your birthing partner about preferences (lighting, music, who should be in the room, etc.).

Pack around 36 weeks so you’re not rushing later.
For Mom
- ID, medical card, maternity notes
- Comfortable gown or long T-shirt
- Warm socks and a light robe
- Comfortable underwear and maternity pads
- Toiletries: toothbrush, face cloth, lip balm, lotion

For Baby
